JEE MAINS 2023

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is an independent, autonomous, and self-sufficient premier testing organization entrusted with conducting the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main).

The Joint Entrance Examination (Main), or JEE (Main), consists of two papers:

Paper 1 is a competitive examination for admission to (B.E/B.Tech.) at NITs, IITs, CFTIs, and Institutions/Universities recognized by participating State Governments. JEE (Main) is also required for JEE (Advanced), which is used to get into IITs.

Paper 2 is used to gain entrance to the country's Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Planning programs. The JEE (Main) 2023 will be held in two sessions to access the academic year 2022-23. As a result, the candidates will benefit in the following ways:

  • If they cannot offer their total effort in one try, they will have two chances to enhance their test marks.
  • Students will have firsthand experience taking an examination and be aware of their faults, which they may improve upon while attempting it for the second time.
  • This reduces a year's drop rate and saves droppers from wasting a whole year.
  • If someone missed the exam due to circumstances beyond their control (such as the Board exam), they would not have to wait a year.
