Thousands of aspiring management students apply for admission to GLIM every year, but only a few are selected. If you plan to apply to GLIM in 2023, you must know the selection process and cutoff criteria.

This article will discuss the various ways to get accepted at GLIM, including the selection process, cutoffs, and other important information.

GLIM Selection Process 2023

The selection process for admission to GLIM consists of several stages, each with its weight. The process assesses the candidate's aptitude, analytical skills, communication skills, and leadership potential. Here are the different stages of the selection process:

Stage 1: Online Application Form

The first stage of the selection process is filling out the online application form. The form requires the candidate to provide personal details, academic details, work experience, and other relevant information. Candidates are also required to upload photographs and signatures. Once the form is submitted, the candidate will receive a confirmation email.

Stage 2: GMAT/CAT/XAT/CMAT scores

The next stage is based on the candidate's GMAT/CAT/XAT/CMAT scores. The candidate must have a valid score in these exams to be considered for admission to GLIM. The cutoff score for each exam varies from year to year and is subject to change.

Stage 3: Personal Interview

Candidates who meet the cutoff score in the entrance exam will be called for a personal interview. The interview assesses the candidate's communication skills, leadership potential, and overall personality. The interview panel consists of faculty members and industry experts.

Stage 4: Group Discussion

Candidates who clear the personal interview stage will be called for a group discussion. The group discussion assesses the candidate's ability to work in a team, problem-solving, and communication skills. The topics for the group discussion are usually related to current affairs or business.

Stage 5: Written Ability Test

Candidates who clear the group discussion stage will be called for a written ability test. The test is designed to assess the candidate's writing skills, analytical skills, and creativity. The topics for the written ability test are usually related to business or social issues.

Stage 6: Work Experience

Candidates who clear all the above stages will be evaluated on their work experience (if any). The weightage given to work experience varies depending on the number of years of work experience.

GLIM Cutoff 2023

The cutoff for admission to GLIM is based on several factors, including the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the entrance exam, and the quality of applicants. The cutoff score for each exam varies from year to year and is subject to change. Here are the expected cutoff scores for GMAT/CAT/XAT/CMAT for GLIM admissions in 2023:

  • GMAT: 600

It is important to note that these are only expected cutoff scores, and the actual cutoff score may be higher or lower than the ones mentioned above. Aiming for a higher score than the expected cutoff is always better to increase your chances of getting admitted to GLIM.
