Eligibility: 

The basic eligibility required is:

  • Qualify for the entrance exam (if any) 
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably BSW)  from a recognised institute with an aggregate of 55% marks
  • Students from Humanities/Social Science/Science/Management and other backgrounds are also eligible if they have scored at least 50% from a recognized college or institute.

Entrance Exam Guidelines 

Generally, the entrance exam will have three components:

  • Written Test
  • Group Discussion
  • Interview

  • Questions consist of verbal ability, reasoning, general knowledge, social aptitude
  • Essays on current topics of relevance

Group discussion guidelines 

  • Topics will be related to contemporary social issues or any relevant topic 

Personal Interview guidelines 

  • Each candidate will be generally interviewed for 15 minutes by a panel of social workers.
  • Students’ aptitude towards Social Work will be evaluated.
