Fashion and Bollywood go together like wine and cheese. Although our films are evolving toward more factual and art styles, the overall OTT vibe is what Bollywood is all about. Fashion plays an important role in these larger-than-life movie experiences.

However, times are changing, and our fashion-forward celebrities are taking a keen interest in their styling options and taking their love of fashion a step further by collaborating with an already-established name in the fashion industry or launching their fashion label without the assistance of anyone else.

In today's Bollywood, where the business and its participants are well-known worldwide, many superstars are branching out into fashion design and creating their lines in addition to their core professions in films.

From reigning celebrities like Salman Khan and Deepika Padukone to internationally recognised mogul Karan Johar, a slew of Bollywood heavyweights have launched their collections to make their style more accessible to the general public.

Taking their responsibilities to the next level, several of our dearies have become designers, founding their fashion businesses to provide a slice of their tastes and sensibility sealed with a celebrity touch.

Karan Johar

Throughout his successful career, this Bollywood icon has worn several hats, including director, producer, occasional actor, radio DJ, and television personality. Karan has also dabbled in fashion design, adding to his impressive array of businesses.

Salman Khan

This celebrity, affectionately referred to as "Bhai" by his millions of followers, notably launched his apparel brand, "Being Human," through the Salman Khan Foundation. The revenues from this collection, which offers a variety of items such as t-shirts and bags, are donated to India's disadvantaged population. Several other Bollywood celebs have already promoted the brand, which is known for its benevolence.

Lisa Haydon

Lisa Haydon, a supermodel turned actress, has also created her line with Sher Singh, Sonny Caberwal, and Sunjay Guleria. Shersingh.com is where she started her clothing collection. Her collection is priced between Rs 800 and Rs 1500 and is suitable for ladies aged 15 to 40.
