Perth is the capital and the largest city of the Australian state of Western Australia (WA). Perth is famous for being the most isolated city in the world, surrounded by Australian nature.

It is a part of Western Australia's South West Land Division, with much of the metropolitan area between the Indian Ocean and the Darling Scarp on the Swan Coastal Plain.

Tourism is an integral part of Perth’s economy. You can swim with dolphins, watch whale watching, watch coral spawning, discover prehistoric caves, and stroll through ancient forest treetops; you will have plenty to explore and explore in this city.

Perth is home to four public universities: the University of Western Australia, Curtin University, Murdoch University, and Edith Cowan University and one private university, the University of Notre Dame Australia.

Perth receives moderate, though highly seasonal, winter-based rainfall. Summers are hot and dry but not completely devoid of rain, with sporadic rainfall in the form of short-lived thunderstorms, cold fronts and, on occasion decaying tropical cyclones from Western Australia's northwest, which can bring heavy rain.

Winters are wet but mild, giving Perth a hot-summer Mediterranean climate, with most of Perth's annual rainfall between May and September.

The Perth Cultural Centre is home to many of the city's major arts, cultural and educational institutions, including the Art Gallery of Western Australia, Western Australian Museum, State Library of Western Australia, State Records Office, and Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (PICA).

The Heath Ledger Theatre is named in honour of Perth-born film actor Heath Ledger, the most significant performance area within the State Theatre Center. Several annual events are held in Perth. The Perth Festival is a significant cultural festival, including the Perth Writers Festival, Winter Arts Festival, and Fringe World.

Tourist attractions generally focus on the city centre, Fremantle, the coast, and the Swan River. The Perth Cultural Centre, The Scitech Discovery Centre, and The Western Australian Maritime Museum are some museums in the city’s central area.
