The King’s University Canada

    The King’s University Canada
    Established on: 1979

King's University, a Christian university in Edmonton, provides educational opportunities to people and groups worldwide. Its campus is on Treaty Six territory, the historic homeland of many Indigenous peoples, in Edmonton, Alberta's capital city, which is a lively and growing metropolis.

We think that viewing the world from the standpoint that God created and owns it is the most excellent way to learn about it. You will find pleasant, kind people when you visit King's. We make an effort to show all students the grace and love of Christ.

The university consistently receives top rankings and accolades on national surveys for its supportive campus climate, high standards of instruction, and student-faculty involvement. King's advertises a 98% post-grad employment rate, which makes sense.

King's University has dedicated itself to excellence in both teaching and research for more than 40 years. The Government approves all King's of Alberta programs, and a solid liberal arts program serves as the foundation for disciplinary learning.

Students can collaborate with academic specialists from the university's Leder School of Business and Micah Centre for Justice and Development to learn and conduct research in each bachelor's degree program. Numerous individuals appointed to Canada Research Chairs, 3M Teaching Award winners, and respected business leaders call the university home.

Creating a Christian learning community where everyone may belong and thrive has been a primary aim since the university's inception in 1979.

King's is known for its dynamic, close-knit campus, low student-to-professor ratio, widely available academic, mental health, and wellness facilities, faculty availability outside of the classroom, and as a place where annual connections that last a lifetime are formed.

Students at King's have opportunities to study and grow outside of the school. Internships, guided study, practicum positions, hands-on learning, career and vocation counseling, and off-campus field learning contribute significantly to success before and after graduation.

Through direct and indirect investments in capital, research, student services, and other areas, King's University annually contributes more than 46.5 million dollars to the provincial economy. Our alums generate millions more. Good things can be found in tiny packages!

King aspires to have an impact that changes the world. Every area of life has the potential for renewal and peace. By empowering students, professors, and all learners to contribute to the common good and the expansion of God's Kingdom, King aids in the realization of this vision.

Along with professional study and graduate degrees, programs train students for professions in commerce, elementary education, applied and health science, government, industry, and more.
