Manitoba Institute of Trades & Technology
    Established on: 1999

The Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology develops and implements cutting-edge educational programs in close collaboration with local businesses and community organizations. These programs are designed to lead to high school diplomas, post-secondary degrees, and apprenticeships of the highest quality.

It offers practical education in the form of certifications and degrees that can be obtained in health care, human services, information and business technology, and skilled trades in as little as one year or as many as two years.

This educational establishment welcomes applications from students from a wide range of countries, and the community on campus takes excellent strides to acknowledge and value the cultural diversity among its student body.

MITT offers students interested in pursuing a career the opportunity to pursue trades and technical training, which provides direct paths into employment or to future levels of study.

Students who are interested in pursuing a profession can do so. Students will benefit from this one-of-a-kind and life-changing opportunity. It enables one to get dual credits, complete pre-employment requirements in a shorter time, and transition into future training without any problem, providing an exceptional degree of flexibility.

Students at the institute have access to cutting-edge technology and are taught by industry specialists, which gives them a competitive advantage over their classmates when they enter the workforce.

Each of MITT's programs includes sessions on employment readiness and work skills, and students have access to one-on-one career counseling anytime it is necessary for them to do so. Students can make a more seamless transition from the classroom to the working world.

In addition to these services, there is a prayer room, a centre for career counseling and job placement, a tutoring centre, and offices for student organizations. A cafeteria or coffee shop, dining rooms, and several conference rooms are utilized by university or college community members and clients attending conferences from outside organizations.

Both students are already enrolled at MITT, and prospective students are welcome to take advantage of the wide range of academic, personal, and professional services provided by the MITT Student Services team.

The institute offers its clients the opportunity to use various services, including student counseling, accessibility, career services, advice, and specialized support for Indigenous, International, and MITT High School students. These services are all part of the institute's roster of available services.
