    DePaul University is a private research university in Chicago, Illinois. The university was founded in 1898, is the largest Catholic university in the United States and has a long history of providing high-quality education to its students.

    On June 30, 1898, the Vincentians, members of the Congregation of the Mission, established DePaul University as St. Vincent's College at the request of Archbishop Feehan. The university's first class consisted of about 70 students, no president, and just seven faculty members.

    DePaul University has two campuses in Chicago, USA. The Lincoln Park campus is north of Chicago's downtown. It is the central campus and is home to five colleges and schools: the College of Education, the College of Science and Health, the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, The Theatre School, and the School of Music.

    Application Process

    Freshman Applicants

    • Official High School Transcript: For candidates still in high school, an official transcript up to their junior year must be delivered to the address shown below. Some students might need to submit their grades from their senior year.
    • SATs not Required: If a student chooses to submit SAT I or ACT results, they may do so from their high school transcript or by requesting an official copy from the testing organisation. 
    • A letter of recommendation is not required.

    Transfer Students 

    Official College Transcript(s): Students must present official transcripts for all the attempted college work (AP, IB, and CLEP credits are not considered part of the 24 credits). If not, the graduation transcript or GED score report (photocopies will not be accepted).

    International Applicants

    • Official Secondary and College Transcripts: Official secondary school transcript(s) and, if possible, an official transcript of the current grades and an English translation of the document(s).
    • English Proficiency: Applicants should show evidence of English language competence.
    • It is filled and signed the Affidavit of Support form.
    • CV and Letters of recommendation may or may not be required.
