    College of Applied Business is a non-profit organization created in 1998 by a group of experienced educators and professionals. The college is located in Gangahity, Chabahil, Kathmandu-7, Nepal.

    College of Applied business offers the following programs:

    • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
    • Bachelor of Information Management (BIM)
    • Bachelors of Business Studies (BBS)

    The College of Applied Business aims to empower youngsters with the truth, knowledge, and realities of life and to assist them in discovering methods to live a wealthy and dignified life.

    The CAB's objectives are as follows:

    • Making pupils feel as members of the learner community that they share the ideals and obligations of the educational process.
    • Encouraging equal opportunity admittance to qualified students eager to achieve academic achievement.
    • Creating an atmosphere that is attentive to the needs of all students and offering facilities that help students achieve academic and professional success.
    • It provides directions and research in business, management, and professional domains.

    All CAB classes are kept small to allow more contact between students and teachers. A course can have a maximum of thirty students enrolled. The College Faculty consists of fifty full-time and part-time instructors. As a result, the teacher-student ratio is ideal for personally guided learning.

    Furthermore, to expose students to the real business world, the College has supplemented its theoretical lessons with guest lectures by professional managers, researchers, and other persons from other walks of life.

    The College of Applied Business distinguishes itself via a distinct vision of providing an excellent value education that is more personalized, engaging, and industry-focused. They are also deeply devoted to enhancing what they do daily and are open to fresh perspectives and methods of doing things. CAB's Board of Trustees supervises the college's general management by developing policies, rules, and regulations for admissions, academic needs, and employment. As the executive leader, the Principal is in charge of the institution's day-to-day operations.

    The College Library houses an extensive collection of complete course books, reference materials, related publications, daily manuals, National & International magazines, and periodicals. It is designed to meet the various information needs of students, teachers, and office personnel while offering proper seating. A well-managed computer laboratory with modern High-Tech Computers continually maintained and monitored by trained technical professionals is also available at the college.

    Scholarships

    • The CAB Scholarship: For achieving the top results, above 70%, in first term examinations in BBS's first year, one scholarship will be offered in each level for a year paying monthly tuition expenses.
    • Principal's I Scholarship: For students who achieve the top scores in the BBS first-year test, one scholarship paying the whole tuition price at each level for one year is offered. Similarly, one scholarship is offered for the second semester to the student with the highest grade in the first semester above SGPA 3.7 in BIM and BBA and over 75% in B. Sc. CSIT.
    • Principal's II Scholarship: One scholarship covers half the tuition fee for the student who receives the second highest marks, above 65%, in the BBS examination. One scholarship covers half the tuition costs for the student who gets the second highest grade, above SGPA 3.7, in the first semester of BIM and BBA, and over 75% in the first semester of B. Sc. CSIT.
    • Principal's III and IV Scholarships: Two scholarships pay a 25% tuition price for students who receive third and fourth highest marks in the BBS test, above 65%, and for two students who receive the second highest grade above SGPA 3.7 in the first semester in BIM and BBA and above 75% in the first semester in B. Sc. CSIT.

        Qualification Requirements

    • BBA: Pass the Grade 12 test with a minimum CGPA of 1.8 and D grades in all subjects in Grades 11 and 12. Students having a minimum second division in their higher secondary or intermediate exams are eligible to apply. 
    • BBS: Students who have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examinations from recognized academic institutes with a second division (45% or higher) or a 1.8 CGPA are eligible to apply for this program.
    • BSc. CSIT: Should have finished twelve years of schooling in the science stream or similar, with a minimum of a second division in their +2 or equivalent OR a C in all subjects. & Applicants must have passed the TU admission exams with at least 35% of the possible points. OR Passed A-level Science with at least a D grade. OR Passed a three-year diploma program in engineering from CTEVT, including physics and mathematics.
