Chaitanya Multiple Campus (CMC) is a public community campus. It is a non-profit campus that focuses on service. It is situated in the prestigious Banepa Valley, 25 kilometers east of Kathmandu. It was created on 15th Mangshir 2048 B.S. (1st December 1991 A.D.) as one of the colleges of this district under the affiliation of Tribhuvan University (T.U.) with the earnest effort of faculty members, educationists affiliated with school education, and social workers in Banepa.
In the region, there is no constituent institution. So, when College was founded, one of its key goals was "to expand the facility and easy excess in higher education at a reasonable cost for the student as well as to generate quality and productive human capital to meet the market need in community and country."

This campus has provided possibilities for higher education to students from geographically backward and isolated places, as well as economically and socially disadvantaged students from Kavre, Ramechhap, Sindhupalchowk, Sindhuli, and other districts. It began M.Ed. (EPM, Math, English, and Nepali) in 2062, Poush. It has a history of almost twenty-five years. The campus's primary funding source is based on student fees, in addition to the regular grants of the university grant commission (UGC), which began with the campus's founding.
CMC exists to serve the community by providing chances for goal-oriented quality education to striving students. It does not claim to do anything magical, but following scientific and educational procedures helps to prepare its pupils to face professional and civil life obstacles.
CMC has been intensely devoted to excellent education and the generation of competent, confident, and inventive students, whom our country has needed since its foundation. CMC has worked to provide a healthy educational atmosphere with the most significant physical and instrument facilities, a laboratory, an e-library, and extracurricular activities.

Qualification Requirements
- Plus Two: Students who have completed the SEE or its equivalent with at least a B grade point average are eligible to apply to the Science stream. Students with a grade of C or higher are eligible to apply for access to the Management and Humanities stream.
- BBS: Canvas admits students who have completed +2 (HSEB/NEB) or the equivalent with at least a second division. Candidates must take the college's regular entrance examination.
- B.Ed: Students who have finished 10+2 or equivalent examinations with a least 'D+' mark in all subjects in Grade 11 and 12 are eligible to enroll in Tribhuvan University's B.Ed program. OR Students holding a Higher Secondary Education Examination Pass Certificate (HSEEPC, hereafter merely HSE) or Tribhuvan University Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL) or comparable to HSE/grade 12 pass are also eligible for admission to the B.Ed program.
- M.Ed: Admission to the master' Programme is open to students having a Bachelor's Degree in Education. They do, however, require certain prerequisites for admittance to several programs. They must pass an admission exam to access another specialist course under the semester system.
