Career Opportunities/Prospects of Master of Education (M.Ed) 

A degree in education not only prepares a professional to become a teacher but also a skilled and trained individual in the field of teaching, leadership, corporate training, student welfare, curriculum development, community education, education policy makers. 

After the completion of the two years M.Ed course, you can be employed in different settings such as academic settings; school, college and university.  

The scopes are available in government, private organizations, NGOs/INGOs. You can apply for the vacant positions for teachers to fulfill different levels announced by the Teacher Service Commission( TSE) through open competition.  

For this, you must pass the written examination and interview conducted by TEC. To hold a permanent teaching position and license, you can apply for a permanent teaching license after the announcement notice made by TEC.
