Entry Requirements for MBA in Australia

The Australian National University

  • Undergraduate degree equivalent to Australian Bachelor’s degree with a score of 5.0 out of 7.0 or a minimum GMAT score of 600
  • For English language requirements, any of the following test scores can be submitted:
    • IELTS score of a minimum of 6.5 with at least 6.0 in each section
    • TOEFL score of a minimum of 80 overall with at least 18 in speaking and listening and 20 in reading and writing
    • PTE score of 64 overall with at least 55 in each of the section

The University of Melbourne

  • A bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution
  • A proven record of 2 years of work experience
  • GMAT score of at least 560 or a GRE score of a minimum of 310 with at least 157 in the quantitative section and 152 in the verbal section
  • Proof of English language proficiency:
    • IELTS score of 7.0 overall and at least 6.5 in each section or,
    • TOEFL score of 102 overall with at least 24 in writing and 21 in all other sections
    • PTE score of a minimum of 65 overall and in writing and at least 50 in all other sections.

The University of Sydney

  • An undergraduate degree with at least 65% marks
  • Relevant work experience of at least three years
  • GMAT score (optional)
  • Minimum IELTS score of 7.0 overall with at least 6.0 in each band or minimum TOEFL score of 96 overall with at least 19 in writing and 17 in other sub-tests or a minimum PTE score of 68 overall and at least 54 in each sub-test.

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Work experience of at least two years
  • GMAT score of more than 650 or GRE score of at least 307 overall with no less than 148 in verbal and 156 in quantitative
  • IELTS score of at least 7.0 overall with no band less than 6.0 or TOEFL score of 94 overall with no less than 25 in writing and 23 in other sub-tests or PTE score of 65 overall and no less than 54 in each sub-test.

The University of Queensland

  • A bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • GMAT score of a minimum of 550
  • At least 4 years of work experience, including two years of a supervisory role
  • IELTS score of at least 6.5 overall with a minimum of 6.0 or TOEFL score of 87 overall with a minimum score of 21 in writing and 19 in other sections or PTE score of 64 overall and no band less than 60 in any section

Monash University

  • An undergraduate degree
  • Three years of work experience with at least one year of managerial experience
  • IELTS score of at least 6.5 overall with a minimum of 6.0 or TOEFL score of 79 overall with a minimum score of 21 in writing, 13 in reading, 12 in listening, and 18 in speaking or PTE score of 58 overall and no band less than 50 in any section

The University of Western Australia

  • An undergraduate degree with a weighted average mark of 50%
  • Two years of work experience in professional settings for a GMAT score of above 650 else three years of work experience and a GMAT score
  • Minimum IELTS score of 7.0 with no less than 6.5 in any band or minimum PTE score of 64 overall with no less than 59 in speaking and 54 in all other sub-tests or a minimum TOEFL score of 100 overall and at least 20 in each section

University of Technology Sydney

  • A bachelor's degree with a GPA of 5.25 out of 7
  • Applicants not meeting the academic requirement can also apply with a GMAT score of at least 550 minimum or 4 years of work experience in the relevant field.
  • IELTS score of 6.5 overall with at least 6.0 in each band, a minimum overall TOEFL score of 79-93 with at least 21 in writing, or a PTE score of 58-64.

University of Wollongong

  • Undergraduate degree with at least 50% marks
  • Three years of experience in relevant field with managerial or professional roles
  • IELTS score of 6.5 overall with no less than 6.0 in each sub-test or TOEFL score of 86 overall with at least 18 in reading and writing and 17 in speaking and listening

Curtin University

  • A bachelor's degree with 5 years of work experience, including three years of managerial roles
